The renegade kid guy isn't a programmer so he has no first hand experience at wii-u programming and renegade kid as a developer are a in good with Nintendo so arent about to dig a knife into the big N. these two reasons alone make this is a rather irrelevant article.
You should research a bit more , criterion studios developed themselves a nice little multi platform engine that was flexible enough to power their Burnout titles but could handle large open worlds, had platform specific optimization a to suit PC,ps2,Xbox and GameCube . Renderware was that engine and while u might not have heard of it without it some of the biggest games of the ps2/Xbox era may not have been created . Best example is grand theft auto 3 through to San Andreas . Renderware was ...
Ive been a quantic dream fan ever since playing the amazing Omikron, i agree with hawkboi on this , heavy rain was a great experience but what could have been a hugely powerful emotional moment/connection (for me anyhow being a father myself) was often diminished or at worst became cringe worthy due to some amazingly bad acting and accents. Also the fact that every actor just recorded their lines in a booth by themselves without the other actors to feed off and interact with made alot of the ...
Why have I read a few different comments now about how people's ps+ minis don't work , mine didn't at first but after one of the newest firmware updates I have no problems at all. I am in Australia which comes under the euro psn accounts, maybe American psn accounts still have this issue ?
Haha that's awesome, I know Patrick well, he's a great guy and great artist he's gonna be pretty chuffed to have a headline on a worldwide gaming news site. Screenshot taken on my iPhone and posted on his Facebook wall :-) hope this exposure helps him get some work in the gaming industry.

The only hardcore games I found decent were dead space and infinity blade and that was simply because the devs had implemented control schemes that were well thought out and pretty intuitive but having said that dead space is still nowhere near as playable on ios as it is with actual button/stick ...
The microsoft dual strike wasnt that bed either i had one and used it till it fucked up got it fixed by an electrician friend then when it shit again got a new one.wasnt the strongest built controller and Its biggest fault was a lack of buttons but its accuracy was awesome. Used it on half life, quake2& 3, and thief 1 and 2 worked a treat :-)
Ultra talented guys, as they said simple to pick up games that are tough to master , I've played their games since the Amiga days and love what they do and how they really push some awesome tech into each game on each machine. Super stardust hd in 3d is stunning and resoguns voxels exploding is an awesome sight , here's hoping they add 3d to resogun at some point :-)
