It's been 4 years since the last DMC, DMC4. Unlike Call of Duty, DMC doesn't release every single year looking or playing similar to its previous title... You're comparing two very different situations here...

That tattoo that the girls have (pause at 0:47) on their shoulder indicate that they're from the "International Contract Agency." The same organization that 47 worked for... But, I'm not sure how that's possible since 47 and Diana were the last surviving members.
I spent more time with tilting the vita on the comic part, rather than actually playing the game... Short demo, but EVERYTHING is AWESOME!!! Day one purchase.
We waited for almost 5 years... He doesn't even talk about the game AND we don't know shit about it... We have more information on the LAST OF US than we have on VERSUS XIII!!! WTF has Square been doing!?!? If it's turned multi-platform like XIII... They would lose their entire PS3 fanbase.

I'm not that big of a Max Payne fan. but I firmly believe that anything related to Rockstar is pure gold. Not only do they meet the current highest standards of storytelling, innovation, gameplay and graphics. They raise the bar and set an example for the highest quality of gaming. Seriously, Max Payne looks like the new stage of evolution in 3rd person shooter genre.

It won't be soon, that's for sure. Rockstar wouldn't release another game and take sales away from Max Payne 3.
So why was MGS4 was a PS3 exclusive...?
It's from the same developer who made Hustle Kings... and Since it's a PSN exclusive for both PS3 and Vita. I'm sure you will only need to buy it once to get both versions and Cross Platform will be included.
The 3DS has been out for more than a Year and the Vita has been out for 4 months in japan and around 1 month in the West. And you want to compare sales between a them? Comparing sales between a $170 3DS to a $250-$400 (Wifi or 3g model+memory card) Vita? Nice...
This isn't the first time Kojima pushed the power of consoles to the limit... MGS1 showed off the power of the PS1 and MGS3 was a technical masterpiece for PS2. MGS4 which is already 4 years old, still looks amazing... And don't get me started on Peace Walker on PSP...
The only way I believed this game could be on current gen consoles, instead of next gen, was that Kojima was directly behind it.
