There is another way but I don't know if Microsoft will want to go down this route What they could do is sell device that the glasses syn with and connect to the 360 much like nividia's device and all you would need is 120hz monitor. This would expensive as nividia them self's sell this for more than £130.
Jesso is right 1000 year is stupid and you would not even find reason to spend that much. If serious in starting in pc gaming you would do research and find that buying an alienware is stupid. or any pre built pc. and as jjesso pointed out you could build pc that would last 5+ years or even as long console generation with out spending 1000 a year on it. I think you are one that should research.
leave kinect and give us hardcore games some nice new exclusives. maybe show cryteks exclusive and show some of there own nothing better than being multi console owner and getting exclusive from all consoles.

my pc from december 2009 has come to £560 6 core amd gtx460 6gb ram and this will play any game for very long time.

for PC gaming launching in 2010 it has very low specs requirements 7-8 year old hardware can run this game on low settings. I would like here what you would consider high end hardware.
