I loved Black Flag. I will feel naked without a ship this time around, but I'm ready to go back to the roots of AC - dense cities with plenty of rooftop running. Free running seemed to be very discouraged in 3 and BF.
While some video games have amazing production value and script/instance writing, it is still a game. As people above have mentioned, they're treated differently because one is interactive and popularly thought of as a kid's pastime, and the other is a passive medium.
Absolutely loved this. When I first played the game, I was trying to figure out how to touch gloves at the beginning of the round and was like "where the HELL is Herb Dean??"
It's a decent game, but yes there are lots of things that could/should be added.
I've been waiting for something like this since AC2. Italy felt so authentic. 3 and 4 had some good things, but they never sucked me into their world like 2 did. I think this game could do that again.

The difficult controls imitate the complexity of the sport. But I think fighters take WAY too much punishment, and there are several other balancing issues. It's a good foundation for future games, for sure. Tons of room for improvement.
I'm excited! Even if it happens to get delayed, I wouldn't mind. That's less pressure on my wallet this year.
So far the game looks fantastic. I'm excited to see how their version of the Bonfires play out with enemies only respawning when you die.
I am SO looking forward to this game. I'd say anything similar to AC is a tip of the hat rather than a steal. If it works, pay it some respect and use it.
Never hurts to try again. The combat is meant to feel slow and brutal. It took a while to enjoy it, but now I love trying to figure out an enemy's attacks and when the perfect time to hit them is.
I won't say you're missing out, because you may not like it. But you should definitely give it a shot when you get a chance. I've put over 120 hours into it.
This kind of violence is what makes MK what it is. Sure, it's gross and sometimes so ludicrous it's silly and juvenile, but it's only natural to wonder what it would look like if someone's skin was ripped from their muscles.
There was a (arguably decent) Assassin's Creed game for iOS when the first game released.

I don't own all three platforms, but I am open minded to news about all three of them. I care about Sony and Nintendo, but I can't afford to buy either of their consoles as well as the games they offer. Xbox was what I was introduced to first (when I started to REALLY play video games all the time).

I agree. Forcing developers to make decisions like gender/race of characters is screwing up the true creativity behind their skills. Just let them create the image they have and don't force anything, or it's going to feel forced when you play it.
I just really hope they haven't focused too much on this Nemesis system so that other areas are noticeably lacking. It's a great idea, and if it works, that's awesome. I really hope it works.

I tried Ocarina of Time after being told multiple times that it was one of the best games to play. I spent about five hours on it and just wasn't feeling it.
