That would be great, but I think they go VC route with GameCube. Wii U games could be ported without necessarily being remastered, meaning better returns. I'll take anything I can get.

I think it is fair to compare separate approaches in the same industry, and Microsoft's "all in one" play was criticized against Sonys different approach for PS4.
That said, I think Scorpio, and Xbox in general's, all inclusive approach is fantastic. I could only wish Nintendo was as forward thinking about ownership of past content and cohesive ecosystem. Scorpio will be a beloved machine within its niche audience, and...
It could have, but Microsoft kickstarted the 360 gen a year early, and it worked incredibly well. I just think that they need to take a risk, and Scorpio is the opposite of that approach.
I understand the desire to escape. Politics and become all-consuming and tiring, especially today in the 24 hour news cycle. But if we want games to be taken seriously they need to tackle serious issues. Moonlights Oscar win was a huge political statement, and that industry will grow because of it, agree or disagree. I don't see why games are different.
My sanity is saved lol
I think this price is more than fair, but Switch buyers have to understand that they are essentially investing in the online service, as it takes capital and time to build what Sony and Microsoft already have. If Nintendo is willing to add online capabilities to Virtual Console games like they've alluded to, it might all be worth it!
If they're used to the same effect, that would be great!
