I'm a be honest.... I couldn't give a toss about Xbox 's future whilst under Microsoft... look at what they tried to pull and have pulled with the xbone.. the DRM issues and all the draconian control they wanted
yet have still released a weaker console at a higher price.
I wouldn't shed a tear if Xbox division was sold to a company who actually cares about games... seeeeeega

I hope these sites do a re-review in a year's time to see how the consoles have changed
from the reviews it's far from a technological marvel.. predominantly great when it works.. the key word 'when'
the verge review is very interesting they found a lot of the same problems like Kotaku regarding the TV functionality, really is hit and miss. (read the verges review)
both consoles have just launched I'm sure two years down the line they will be vastly different like 360 and ps3 and how they morphed

if it had been the other way around you can be sure Engadget would have made an article on it... they did when it came to multiplats favouring 360
i urge anyone to look through Engadgets archives and read how positively they report on 360 to the point in gushing over the years and how bad they take jabs a playstation then disagree with me.
