I do think it is fun to have someone sitting with you while playing, but it is when people do nothing but that CONSTANTLY, and take advantage of the system to annoy other players. They are like griefers in Minecraft, I myself have even been able to join a game in split-screen mode, and been able to NOT be distruptive to the team.
