I'll agree with you on that.
None of those systems had a hard drive or blu-ray player or wireless internet out of the box. All those features take power and space. There will be no slim-line for at least another 3 years.
You have to factor in PS2, PS3, and PSP sales. PS2 still sells a boat load of games.
It's been a little over a year since I bought my baby (my ps3) I caress her every night. Turning her on ever so gently with the touch of my fingers. Ah yes....Life is now complete.

That is some of the most ill informed logic ever. There will be no PS3 Slim for a few years. I'm sure of it. The price will go down eventually. Maybe around X-mas, maybe longer.

I agree, I have to buy it every year. I would love if they would just release a definitive game and sell you the new rosters every year for like 30 bucks or something. I can dream.
Madden can catch a bad rap at times but it really is fun as hell to play. And very deep too.
This is just a test run. Thats why they did it in the summer. Wait till fall when flu season comes. That is when they will unleash the beast.
