I just can't agree with that at all. If I am in the mood for some blood spilling I would pick Gears over MGS4 any day. But if I am in the mood for some stealth action then I would go with MGS4. They are just way too different. I understand Infamous vs Crackdown. But these two games? Come on!
If money was no obstacle I would just have both. Right now I just have PS3 and am very happy with my choice.

The writer of this must not have even played Indigo Prophecy. I remember the good old days when videogame journalism was actually just that. JOURNALISM!! This article is a great example of everything that is wrong with the whole videogame journalist scene. Man and I thought I used to write some trash when I was writing.
This is just stupid. Two way different games. It's like comparing Final Fantasy 7 with Harvest Moon.
Good pick using Kratos for number 1. But where the hell is Jackie Esticato (the main character from The Darkness) I swear everyone missed that game. The Darkness was hands down one of the best games this gen and everyone seems to have missed it.
It is logical to assume that they are developing the next GTA. I wouldn't be the least bit shocked if they announced a GTA for the Wii soon either. GTA is Rockstars biggest franchise. They always have a new one brewing, it is their cash cow. Even if patcher is full of BS 99% of the time, this rumor is most likely true.
But damn I just finished GTA4 like two months ago!
Cool the new NCAA Football is out! Now I can go by last years version for 10 bucks!!!!! I've been a year behind on this series for 4 years now and I'm going to keep it that way. Think about it. In 5 years I've paid 50 bucks to play all the past 5 NCAA Games. Instead of 60 bucks a year.
I'm happy they made this announcement. Now I have more time to save up. Between Madden in August and Uncharted 2 and Bioshock 2 in October I was getting scared that I would have to decided which one not to buy. Good job by Take 2 to wait and give the game some extra polish. Bioshock has been my favorite game this gen so far so part 2 had better exceed part 1.
I could care less if it is real or not. The way I look at it is like this. I like my big bulky PlayStation 3. If the slim line is real I sure am happy I bought mine a year and a half ago. The old design wins out easy over the new "slim" design. Honestly that thing looks frail.
To sum this article up for all the fanboys. Nintendo wins. Sony and Microsoft virtually tie. The bottom line of article was everyone did good.
Maybe he is sucking up to Sony in hopes of landing a gig from them.

You have to give Tony Hawk the nod. Before Tony Hawk skating games suck. And part 2 really upped the game with the inclusion of the manual and reverts.
They should just kill off the entire Mortal Kombat series. Or at least recruit some amazing developer to take over. As it stands now the series is just pathetic.
Screw Punch Out. My days of frustration are over with that game!
CNN actually wrote a decent article for once. Amazing. I'd have to say that Sony if anyone can get themselves out of this mess. They have the resources. Maybe they just need some fresh new management.
