Can someone tell me the last time one of HHG predictions came true? If one ever has. I remember maybe 9-10 months ago him saying that earning trophies would translate into all kinds of free stuff to use in HOME.

Normally I would agree and I do with most of what you said. But this is a bit much. And yeah God of War and Gears of War may be ultra violent but not in a realistic way. I mean for heaven sakes you can shoot people that are already shot that are trying to crawl away. It's just a bit over the top. I'll still eventually play it but after buying Uncharted 2 no game seems worth buying right now anyways.
Wow PS3 really put up some numbers this month. I'd say the next three months will decide the future of the console war.
how does this outscore Uncharted 2? Uncharted 2 has 12-15 hour campaign that is epic in scale and story as well as some of the best multiplayer I have ever played. A lot of people may disagree but Uncharted 2's multiplayer is sooooo much fun.
Don't think the NFL is going to let that go unnoticed. They expect more return from that exclusive deal. And yes NFL 2K5 was awesome. Ahead of its time even now. The presentation was just amazing.
You both bring up really good points. I've been buying it every year still but I think I am done with it. I hardly play it online and Franchise mode lasts 30 seasons so I think I'll just say I am set on Football for a few years.

Dude I'm 27 years old and I am pissed that I spent 60 bucks of my hard earned cash on a game that could easily have been released as an online only game and spared me 20 bucks.

Yeah and there is something wrong with that. It might as well have no campaign mode. We could all save 20 bucks if they'd just release it online. Or they'd go the Halo route and just charge you full price for a update. (no matter how good it was full price is lame)
Why is it that IGN feels that Campaign mode is worth only 5 tenths of a point? I'm sorry if the campaign is only 5 hours long and lacks any real story shouldn't they knock the game down in score to at least an 8.5? I know everyone loves the multiplayer but when have any of you ever heard that the Campaign just feels tacked on. Maybe they should just spare us next time and release a new online only game. Maybe save us all 20 bucks.
Of course it sold better. It's mulitplatform and its the only NFL game. Honestly I'm kinda shocked Madden 10 has only sold 3.9mil I thought it would sell way more than that. People must be getting sick of Madden.
This review reads like every other review I have read for this game. GamingBlot took a collection of other sites review lines and used them for their own. Remember people this is the same awesome website that has brought us the recent article "GB Face-Off: Gears of War vs Uncharted" which compared the two games in graphics and sales and badassness. But forgot to do a comparison of Gameplay or Online features. Once again Gamingbolt guys just please give it up.
This list is full of online PSN titles. What about God of War 3, MAG, and Mod Kart Racers? GamePro is so out of touch with gaming.
This article sucks. I thought it was going to compare gameplay, game modes etc. Instead we get this junk about sales and blah blah blah. Seriously this Gamingbolt site needs to be filtered out of here. They bring nothing good to this site.
