GT established their loyal followers because the franchise has been out since PS1 and has had several GT iterations expanding over different platforms, consoles and handhelds. Forza has only been around since last gen on a console that only had a 24 million install base.

Agreed. Forza remains the uncontested racing sim this gen. That game will always find it's way into my library. I have all forza's as well since Forza 1 on my Xbox.
Turn 10 just keeps putting more and more into the franchise. It's amazing how they manage to put so much content in a game and still manage to release the game in a finished state.
If MS announces Killer Instinct for a 2011 launch....MS will have not only won E3, but also 2011's best exclusive games to come out.

Sony is a multi billion dollar corp. They have the revenue to create AAA games regardless if sales of that title are poor or returns are under expectations. Many companies can make a AAA franchise that has average sales.

It's hard to support both when 1 has been hacked and the possibility of personal info has been stolen.
I for 1 won't support Sony on any purchases made online through the PSN and I give limited info to Sony as I no longer trust them with my personal info.

Sounds to me like MS is just preparing XBL for the E3 content that will be released on it.
I have had no issues yet though and can easily access it through XBL. I haven't tried it on my PC yet.

Well considering that the Gears franchise is the highest selling New exclusive IP this gen and the highest reviewed 3rd person action adventure series this gen, I am not surprised that the 3rd installment which looks to be the best out of the 3 with all it's features and being the conclusion of this series, is the fastest selling exclusive on the 360.
People love great games, and the gears franchise is one of the greatest this gen.

WOW!! Colour me impressed. I was worried about this game from the screen shots thinking it was going to be too much ground battles but WOW!!! seeing the gameplay has really made me excited for this game.

I don't like the direction they are taking this game. Looks like to much ground combat. I want to stay in the air.
So of the 10 games, 5 are shooters and of those 5 four of them are military shooters.
2 are sandbox
2 are sports
1 is a fighter.
I think that is some pretty good diversity. Since shooters are "the" genre this gen it's no surprise that 5 of the 10 are shooters. I am surprised that 3 are CoD games.... o.O
I will be getting them both, but I much prefer the Battlefield series. MW3 is just going to be for the single player campaign.
