I don't like the styles of most reviews. Nowadays grades for reviews(Ign/Gamespot) just seem to be judged on the highest bidder, not the actual quality of the game.

The real problem is the scope of the empty space.
Practically the entire world map in Fallout 3 is completely useless space.
I find myself using fast travel about 99% of the time because I can't be bothered to trudge through EXACTLY the same landscapes over and over and over again.
You either get post-apocalyptic scenery...or post-apocalyptic scenery.
At least in Zelda there's variety. Take Twilight Princess for example. Lake Hylia....
