I only have time for one. I'm busy enough that I only get time to play on weekend mornings during the cooler months. Less than that when it's warm. Because of that, I only have time for one console, and very I rarely play online. The PlayStation makes the most sense for me.

I do a lot of research on any item that I'm going to spend over a hundred bucks on. I sure as hell have reasons as to why I bought one product over another. I hope that's not really what you think. The vast majority of people don't visit sites like this and know nothing of fanboys. People buy consoles based on software and word of mouth.
A co-worker coming in and raving about how fantastic the New Uncharted or God of War is, then you going out and finding that you need a PS4 to play those games has nothing to do with fanboys. Great exclusives sell consoles. Period.

Still... It's not good to have no preferences about anything at all. No thing, place, issue, reasoning that you'll defend over something else. You should not think that there is nothing that is better or not as good as something else. You should not stand no ground on anything. But I do see what you're saying. They is no reason to be rude.

I didn't read that in the article, Justin. I'm curious as to where you've seen it. I would like to get it early access, but I would feel like a real jerk if I didn't create any content. They explicitly say that early access is for those who want to create and help the community create.

It's never going to happen. It's like asking football fans to not bash the opposing team while cheering for their own. Competition is good, as well as having winners and losers. The "black bars" are not bars at all, rather a wider aspect ratio. If you zoomed in till they were gone you'd be missing the sides of the image. I used to have to try to explain this all the time when 4:3 TVs were common. You're literally seeing more of the image when the "black bars" are present.
