I'd like to amend your statement a bit... If you want to play games at a premium level, in 4k there's PC. If you want to spend less money for a bit less than a premium gaming experience, where many games upscale to 4k, there's the Xbox One X. If you want exclusive games also in 4k, where more games use upscaling, for less cost, there's the PS4 Pro.
I completely agree. Sony does not need to drop the price, I was just commenting on why they would, if they did.

I did read that Microsoft doesn't plan on developing a full blown new console, but to bring out more iterations of the current console with less time between updates. I find that a little confusing, but not terribly so. To me it sounds like there will be more consoles, but they're going to be updates like the Xbox One X that come more often than traditional consoles. It's a curious idea that I'm sure they've not set in stone yet.

What I mean is, if the Xbox One X does well they will create another console, but if it does poorly they will consider using the resources they would use on console development to expound on their line up of games?
I call B.S. If it were true PC only games would be miles ahead of multiplatform, but they're simply not. Nothing is holding a PC only game back but they still are not astoundingly different than what you see on consoles. Put any PC game up against Horizon and see for yourself.

I never start a game before I finish the one I'm playing. I have games (Nier is one of them) still in the cellophane because I was playing another.
I'll even finish a game if it's terrible. My Mom got me The Scorpion King game, for some odd reason. I only started it because I made it through my backlog. It was awful all the way through, but I played it all the way through.
