I really enjoy Little Nightmares. I'm looking forward to playing this dlc.
Looks good. On a side note, I've always thought the guy in the picture by the phone looks like George W. Bush.
It did happen with Sega, Phoenix.
The video is a good watch... Does get a bit sad at the end though.
Man... I Love all 3 Dead Space games.
Cupofjoe made the point that I was going to make. Games on the X also have to be able to run on the base Xbox One, just as games on the Pro have to be able to run on the base PS4. The original One is probably a bigger factor than the PS4 when it comes to games on the X.
If you read the article he talks about people in areas that can't get high speed. My parents are in that boat. The fastest internet they can get where they are is 3g. Try downloading a 40 gig patch with that... It will take days.
He also talks about how Sony will let you play the game as the patch is downloading in the background, but that can't be done on the X.
For some reason I was thinking there were 4. The original, a newer model after the RRoD issue, the arcade, and the premium that had a larger hard drive and better chipset.
I do remember Microsoft talking about different options for different gamers.
This will be my third time buying this game, and it's worth every penny. I don't even know how many times I've beat this game. Now... If they would just do Ico like this.
Now that would be exciting.
Yep.
Didn't the 360 do that? How many iterations of that console were there?..
Many people here don't read before they comment.
You're a little late to the party, marc. We've already covered that.
You're right Tim... That was my mistake. He was actually talking about QLED which is want I'm looking at for my next TV. I have image ghosting issues with my OLED.
Following is a quote from the article.
" I borrowed a Samsung 65-inch 4K UHD QLED TV, and Gears’ space marines still looked great. Yes, a little bit sharper, but it didn’t feel like $250 better."
Not to not pick, but there are games that use checkerboard rendering on the X. You should look into it.
Well... I agree and disagree so I did not choose one. Right now there is not a lot of 4k content available. I have yet to upgrade to a 4K TV as there is not a lot to feed it. If my current TV were to quit, of course I'd buy 4k, but I'm not buying anything less than 70 inches. I figure that, if I wait a year there will be more content, and prices will come down even more. At that point I'll buy a 70 inch (or larger) 4K TV and move my current TV to my bedroom.
That's not the point, Neon. The fact is, there has already been a console on the market that has done "Real 4k HDR gaming". The title of the article is misleading at best.
Pappy,
I read the article... What he is saying is that the cost of the upgrade is not really worth it for the average consumer. He talked about the difference in Gears of War not being that notable, even on a Samsung 4k OLED TV. He recommends that most people wait for a price drop before buying the X. He did talk about how Microsoft said that this console is geared at high end consumers that want to be on the cutting edge.
Funny side note. I'm using ...
I don't think Microsoft is going to exit the console space anytime soon, but... If the the console hardware is determined to be non profitable, they could shut it down. The board of directors will not continue to fund projects that are not bringing a positive return.
To be clear, I'm not saying that this is happening, just that it is not an impossibility to no longer fund a product line that is no longer profitable. It's like Harley Davidson no longer building ...
