I would have paid to see every single Sony Fanboy's face when they realised that 2.4 was a huge piece of steaming dog crap. As long as PSN is a free service, it will never surpass XBL..that's a fact. These "trophies" are a joke. I seriously laughed at my tv when I downloaded the update.
Wake up...accomplishments aren't everything. PSN is still lacking in alot of areas that XBL does great.

I'm one of them. I've played WoW for 2 years but not religiously. AoC hooks you with the eye candy but once that wares off, there isn't much substance there at all.
They've improved player models, stadiums, shaders, player physics etc. I'm pretty sure that Franchise will be the same but how much more can you add to that...and hello!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ONLINE LEAGUES!

I for one, am sorely dissapointed with AoC. Upon it's release, I went out and built a $1300 machine just so I could play this game. Let's get this straight, the game looks amazing but that only goes so far. The combat system is good too but the game is one big empty jar. Exploring points of interest like in LOTR and WoW is simply out of the question. Adventuring to a major city by-way of back roads or through deserted towns is gone.

I really am thinking of canceling my subscription. Eventhough I am still a lower level (35) I find no reason to really progress. Yes the combat system is AWESOME but there isn't alot of substance there for me. Really, the only thing I see myself leveling for is to take part in guild battles. AOC is a great game but it lacks in areas that hurt its longevity. No matter how much I try to find a replacement for WoW, it's impossible for me. WoW got it right on so many levels.
True, games are becoming over-hyped in today's day and age. I disagree with you about COD4. Who was talking about it when it was announced/in development? Nobody! Especially console fanboys because they had relatively no idea about the COD franchise before COD3 and 4 was released.
