This guy has the most punchable face in the video game business. That little squint, half-smile is beyond arrogant,
@Dehenus
Whoa. I don't think any of what I said could be implicit in a conspiracy to burn down Microsoft, or anything of the sort. I want Microsoft to succeed and do right enough by their consumer, just like Sony has been with this upcoming generation. That's what drives these consoles to try so hard: competition. I'd like for them to keep competing because it's we who reap the benefits.
As for how the media has given Microsoft a break? Here...
Seriously, I've learned to disregard Call of Duty instinctually by now. You'd think people would have expected as much after this:

This. This so much it's not even funny.
I'm not one for this whole resolutiongate bullshit and I've learned to not even remotely expect a minority of Xbox fans to acknowledge the console's shortcomings even when they're so evident, but this is beyond irrational. I realize that technology comes with a law of diminishing returns, but how people expect to be taken seriously or even acknowledged when they're so deluded by fanboyism that suddenly somehow &...
Yeah I don't either anymore, I had to sell it to get the PS4. Man, I am so excited for launch. I'm getting ShadowFall for now, but if I were you, I'd hold back on getting the VITA until the PS4 ecosystem has evolved enough to warrant getting it. Throw that money at another game!
My mistake, what launch games are you getting? I think we'll see a bit of longevity with the PS4, as it ages, people learn to use it much more sparingly and dynamically. I don't think anyone would really believe Resistance: Fall of Man and The Last Of Us were achieved on the same console.
It would be a whole different experience to play a next-gen Batman: Arkham game whilst listening to Hans Zimmer's score for The Dark Knight and The Dark Knight Rises, or God Of War while listening to the Gladiator Score.
The new iPad means a whole hell of a lot more for console gaming than it does for mobile gaming if this 'second-screen' movement takes off. A 64-bit tablet could make way for some incredibly powerful, dynamic, and capable second screen experiences.
If you wanted to see more out of the PS4, then I shudder to think how disappointing the Xbox One is going to be for you. It seems more hopeless by the day. Especially in terms of the graphics power you wanted to see.
Do I care?
No, not really, a vast majority of the people that care are the same people who would probably never use the thing, but because it's something they, the all-mighty, everliving Consumer, aren't getting, they stick their head in the sand and shit their pants until they get what they want. Why? Because fuck you, that's why.
Would it be nice to get it?
Sure, it would, assuming it allows their playback in-game. I'm the o...
WHAT WHAT WHAT WHAT WHAT
From being a pillar in the Xbox gaming community, to measuring dicks over iPhone games.
Oh, how the mighty have fallen.
Maybe it's just me, but there was a lull in my excitement for the PS4 over the last week or two, and, for some strange reason, this article just made me really excited again.
@theWB 27 It's going to be a long generation as long as you're here spouting off those flowing tapestries of bullshit you call factual statements.
Driveclub is 30FPS? Nah, man, sorry. Maybe if it was running on the Xbox One. It's been confirmed at 60FPS.
Killzone: Shadowfall Single-Player is 30 FPS? Wrong again. If you kept up with the facts, you'd know that the Single Player framerate was found to run even better at an unlocked framerate with...
@Majin-vegeta
Exactly. I just don't get why people rally behind that mindset though...when Microsoft has, time and time again, shown that they couldn't give a quarter of a fuck about their loyal fans.
Fanboyism aside, at some point it should just be about supporting the console that offers the best GAMING experience, and I don't care how many robots you can climb into in Titanfall, it takes away from the game when you feel like you're runnin...
aaaaaaaand it's gone.
I don't know why people keep downplaying the disparities in resolution. Resolution is a factor, surely not the only one, and not nearly the most important one, but it matters.
Resolution is a great indicator not only of overall game quality, but the console build quality in terms of power and efficiency, and overall longevity of the hardware.
Maybe it's people justifying their pre-orders for a marginally inferior console, maybe it's just denial, o...
Changing the name is acknowledging that they did something wrong, which they didn't.
I feel like the only reason it's offensive is because everyone's instinctually tiptoes around it to be politically correct, making it into something reprehensible, which it isn't. It's a video game, for God's sake.
Ahahahahahaha, oh god, now it's just getting sad.
