Companies have no choice but turn into extreme method in order to reduce piracy and used game sale. You as a consumer have choice to support or not. It's that simple.
This game on consoles will be just a hyped up BC2. There is no way I am getting this game for my PS3 or 360 even it was sitting in the shovel ware bin for 2 bucks. The day I get a nice PC then I might pick it up.
Just with BC2 was a bloody disgrace for any BF fan this game is a slap in the face to any console BC2 lover. They are trying to cash in o BC2 enormous success on consoles by porting this one to the PS3 and 360 and hoping that gamers are dumb enough to fall for that. ...

The R&C series have always been greatly loved by gamers and critics alike. Just look at that vibrate use of colors and the ultra smooth gameplay even when when the screen is filled with utter chaos. It might be on the bottom of your list but it's at the top of mine. I'll burn mountains of Gears 3, Uncharted 3, and skyrim if it got me a copy of this game today.
PS: Not to mention that the R&C have always had the most fun and original weapons in any game series....

Hear, hear. While I do enjoy a good mp now and again it always gets old and stale very quickly. The problem is that most fps developers can not make a good sp to save their lives so they are counting on the mp to carry the $60 price tag.
Actually I pulled that out of your ass. Have fun with your BC2.5. I'll be enjoying higher player count, bigger maps, better graphics and performance. We'll see how happy you'll be when your game starts to lag out on you.

You are forgetting it's not just the higher graphics but the higher player count and the larger maps.
You're wasting your money. You are essentially buying BC2.5. Maps will be as small if not even smaller and I am sure the number of vehicles will be severely cut. Just keep playing BC2. You're better off saving for a computer upgrade.
I seriously hope not. No reason to invest money in this dismal game that had the luck of being a launch release and gain some undeserved cult following. The only save grace was the Mo Cap.

No reason for any console gamer to buy this one. BF3 is meant to be played on PC, Period. They are making a console version because they KNOW console gamers will eat it up and ask for more no matter how dumbed down the console versions will be. BF3 on console will be just an upgraded version of BC2.
One of these days someone inside, or related to Anon will take things too far and they will go from being an internet menace to a group being labeled as terrorist. They are essentially poking a sleeping giant in the from of the FBI and DoHS. I am not saying that what they are doing is not nobel (well most things they do) but they have a section of people that are just rotten apples. The fact they have no real structure or leadership is their greatest strength and their greatest weakness.
