Legit moan from me would be that I wish it was on PC because it seems like worthy of a buy with little regret judging by he relatively unanimous reviews with praise.
Sorry but after being a console gamer since SNES to the PS3, I realized a few things and more so with the drought this generation + failed AAA titles, along with having more money from a better job and going nearly all out on the PC of my dreams, I just can't see the sense in buying a PS4 or any other consol...
Thank goodness. Finally a dev with some sense of what people or real gamers would prefer. Cinematic? 30 fps? Lmfao, anyone that ever bought that excuse is a great example of the sheer pliability of bending the human mind to prefer a clear negative.
Buying a whole system for one game? As a recent convert to PC and not being stingy with money... That is still a ridiculous thing tbh.
All this resolution talk with no mention of screen size. Good luck with 120 hz 4k with vsync. I'm running a 1080p with down clocking to 120hz on my 27 inch monitor and with a gtx 980 some games won't run flawless maxed out at 60+ frames.
So this whole talk of resolution you got going is nonsense because any real typical desktop distance your eyes are away from your monitor, 1080p should be a sweet spot for years to come. Forget about that 144hz 4k pipe dream you have...
Of course they haven't learned. If they did, people that warn those to caution and dial down the hype wouldn't be downvoted to oblivion, only to find themselves upvoted to heaven with comments they make when the game releases with "I told you so's".
Edit: oh and they removed the seamless transition from ground to space battles with a loading screen, so that spell well for now /sarcasm.
Ah DLC planned so well such as this makes the decision not to buy this game all that much more easier. Fake leak or not, it doesn't take a genius to figure out this game will be DLC milked to death.
What customer service?
Rightfully so, more times than not.
Delaygate. Ok I'm joking. But jeez all the delays this generation are pathetic to be honest. It's not like they have been worth it every time.
This industry is long overdue for another crash. Can't have another paradigm with the current system still in existence. Gotta topple what's here now to make room for something new. The shovel ware is all over the place and hitting indie games as hard as AAA titles.
Always had the story of AC as the glue that held me to the series this long. Judging by early impressions this game was the one I should have played instead of that UNITY nonsense that was a technical mess for me on PC. The story was also a snooze fest. On top of it not having anything substantial in terms of present day events.
The gameplay and character of this game looked much more interesting. And shamefully I think I might purchase it seeing as how it's not a rip off...
Good for Microsoft. But mainly good that I could experience this properly on the PC as I gave up consoles after my PS3. :-/
@LogicalReason
I actually switched from consoles to PC right before this gen started. Mainly due to the fact I could finally afford it.
With the state of affairs in gaming today. It's really annoying to see how consoles have benefits to some folks even after (personally) dishing out over 2.5k for my first build ever. This is considerably more than consoles. Really odd to see how you can pay so much yet still feel robbed in a certain way with the garbage s...
Dang. Thinkception
Oh so games will now be 120 frames?
I sure as hell will take that with a grain of salt seeing as how no game worth much this generation runs anywhere near 60 frames with 1080p. Hell that garbage of a movie (order 1886) couldn't manage 1080p or 60 frames, nor any redeeming gameplay for that matter.
Too little to late I am afraid.
This is the North American edition how?
Thus the price of democracy and freedoms. If the market will bare it, you have to accept the reality that a franchise or game you like can be subjected to any kind of exploitation, because unlike buying shares of a company, the only thing you get from buying the game, is a license to use it as they see fit.
Your hoping for the wrong thing. I on the other hand hope this game is WORSE than what is shown, so it can be another evidence in the long line-up of customer conning tactics.
At least after this one, more people can spare there money for some better game and hopefully a most deserving publisher. Shame on Ubisoft this generation especially. Shame on them for these rhetoric driven comments taken straight out of the public relations manifesto.
If you watched the fail they presented live on-screen during the presentation... Something like this would seem like a joke to anyone with a brainstem
Aside from varying infrastructures all over the world, ping will still bury this service from being adapted and replacing consoles/PC's anytime soon. Not to mention the legal and publishing nightmares/dev support this might face with lack of content in it's infancy.
So annoying when companies try to pul...
I played demon souls. So this game hurts not being able to play, no doubt. But like I said, the simple matter for me is, I can't throw nearly $500 after tax to play one game.
I know I could use it for others, but literally nothing else this gen interests me on consoles for now (nor do many new IPs considering the track record this gen).
Hmm I got 3 disagrees out of 4? So I guess 75% of people here would buy (I hope with the money they earned themselves)...
