No, a disc has no better value. The PS3 has value and a HD-DVD player doesn't. I'm sticking with Blu-ray. HD-DVD may have gotten a push lately but they are still behind all over the world!

Its been a year so they should have stepped their graphics game up. I can't wait to try the game, I hope it comes out this year. And I'm getting pretty sick of everyone comparing games to Gears, there are plenty of superior graphic games out now.

if they are so close, then why not save the money and get an upscaling dvd player. That way you get all the movies and don't have to choose. My PS3 is going my upconvertor and Blu-ray player so I get the best Dvd's and format until BD win's this war. Cheers!
Blu-ray is a global format, the money is green no matter where in the world it comes from. Global sales matter not just the US!

as cost of manufacturing next gen players and tvs fall, 720 and 1080i will be things of the past. Any informed shopper will buy something for a bit more if they know it will last them alot longer than a few years. All Blu-ray players support all levels of HD. Toshiba's don't. Use your brain, the players being sold by the BD supports will last a long time, Toshibas won't. You'd might as well buy a up-converting DVD player instead.

I was going to the trilogy but I had some unforseen money issues so I plan on asking for it for Christmas, thats as good as mine. Go Blu!
by I am still being patient. I look forward to in game XMB but I know that they will do it and that they are working on it. I hope it comes before the end of the year but know for sure that they will add it by spring.
there's not enough time in a day for me to play and beat all these games. I must finish the ones I have first. I think I have my work cut out for me. Thank the heavens for time off during the holidays.
