This is no way to win the format war or the console one. The only way this can possibly be effective is if they drop the Elite and call this the new Elite but even that won't fix the RROD or convince me to get one.

I was hoping for so much more gameplay and a much richer story. Unfortunately I was playing it the same time as Uncharted so it came up looking and playing alot less spectacular as Uncharted. It got better toward the end but it was repetitive. I hope they do a much better job on the second one, the concept was cool but the bugs and the cut scenes were too long.
it secret, the gaming conferences for 08 haven't even started yet so why yet out one of the big guns when its neither the time or the place.
although I do think it would be good for them to take some time off before making the next uncharted. Its good to get a break, it could allow more time for them to come up with some sweet new stuff.
face to the people who already bought the 360 and it wouldn't make much sense to put it out now when the 360 is going into its 3rd year. I don't see it making that much of a difference in the format war either. Its too little too late.

your PS3 by now, you should start seriously considering it for this game. Its a good a time as any and the game looks to be incredible.
an issue for you. Its MORE than just the fact that MS has a limit on the size of files you can download off live, MS controls everything that goes up on it and pretty much forces prices to be put on the content wether devs want it that way or not. MS also has a longer certification process for getting things on live and don't allow mods. Thats a huge reason why Epic was happy to work with Sony on UT3. You should do more fact finding and get the whole story before you start with only a half of...

It is Valve we are talking about here. Who's going to make the patch? EA or Valve? The company that has already condemned the system that they haven't made anything for or the company that has made a few games for it, all of poor quality. Its the devil either way you look.
to expect with this game. It could be very tired and old or it could be fantastic. I may do what I hate doing, rent before I buy. The demo could help.
