answer is simple, they announced the remake back at E3, they were blown away by the demand and hype for the remake, they decided to cut the game apart and sell it as "episodic parts" to milk us and gain more money from it, an "episode" or whatever will probably cost $20 or more, lets say 6parts that means $20 X 6 = $120 for the complete game that is supposed to be $59.99 in the first place. its like buying the ultimate edition of Battlefront that comes with the season pass...
