@GamesBlow - Because of the price difference you dumbass. Some people probably don't want to spend $400 on a blu-ray player right now.. Besides $50 is not a lot when you get close to the same quality of a blu-ray player.. Hence I said "close" don't spaz out people.

You people no nothing of the HD-DVD players do you? It's not necessarily a "dead Format".. it can still play and up-scale DVD's. It'd be a good pick up for people who don't want to buy a Blu-Ray right now..

@robbo918 - Ya know what the problem is? It's that the topic starters put the topic in every category so that their story gets more "press." This shouldn't be in the 360 and PS3 category if you ask me.. It's about sales so I personally think it should only be listed in the 'Industry' category.. Games should only be listed in the 360 and or PS3 for whichever console/s there coming to.. but the topic starters don't do that..

It's always nice to be able to play my own music.. either saved on my HDD or right off my cpu.. since I use the same TV for my 360 and PC.
I don't believe he meant that MS "Won" but I think he means because Sony had to 'fight' to win with the Blu-Ray so with all the money they spent trying to push the Blu-Ray, I think he meant, that the PS3 was more of an experiment/test or something like that. Cause if Sony lost the format war the PS3 would have been sent to the 'scrapheap' but for MS either format winning would not affect MS as bad as it would have Sony.. But, Iuno. However, congrats Sony.
