Picked it up and it's still nasty Battlefield. The same way BF1 will be nasty Battlefield.
Air vehicles (in BF4's case the Little bird and Scout) completely dominating. Self repairing metal, self replenishing rockets, easy to evade lock ons. . etc etc.
Every BF is the same. . .

First game an enemy went 60-2 in a tank. He was able to use smoke .... Unlimited ..... To prevent rocket hits. He'd then reverse back a bit for the tank to magically spawn itself for smoke grenades... And repeat ad infinitum. If he did get hit with a rocket hit tank would self heal.
There's a reason BF is second best to CoD and it's all about balance.
No cus it'll be dominated by OP vehicles and movement like you're moving through treacle.
Yes I've played BFBC2, BF3, BF4 and every time is the same. Three people destroying in a tank or chopper that not only has regenerating health (lol) but has two people repairing it as its being shot with some welding tools. Ridiculous. Zero balance in the game.
People love CoD4 because it's mainly about people shooting each other. No overpowered player controlled vehicular weapons destroying everyone.
It's why it stands as a classic.
Every dice game is a 'run to the vehicle with your mates and abuse the hideous balance to go on a big streak'.
Every cod after 4 is similar. Camo for ac130 etc.
No one cares anymore since the CoD4 leak.
Who would want to play another unbalanced Dice game where for over a year self health regenerating tanks and choppers with unlimited shells , rockets, and fuel.... dominate a first person shooting game.

I only recently found out you can't explore planets with a couple of friends.
In that instant this game went from 'OMG I CANT WAIT' to 'why in the name of sweet Christ would I want to roam around planets doing nothing by myself'.
This made me check out some gameplay....
What I saw was people firing rockets at each other constantly but the rockets were actually normal guns and not special weapons.

When they ship a game full price, light on content, as an unbalanced mess and yet take about a month or two to implement BASIC BALANCE FIXES then that's lazy.
Everyone knew what needed patched immediately upon release. . .A-Wing, Homing Missile, DL44. . . .yet they seemingly took about two months off work on holiday.
