My only concern is that they're simply using nextbox as a trojan horse to get their other products in direct competition to apple/google.Smartglass, skype and IE on tv's etc.
Actual games seem like a afterthought to them.Or perhaps they'll do what they did with 360.Start out strong with great games, and just slowly fade away support over time.
The fact that they started out the conference going directly into a 20 minute demo of TV tech speaks volu...

Even at the very end, i had a little hope when he started hyping up the "biggest franchise" etc.I figured it would be something GTA related.Then he mentions "once again, a partnership" and i thought for sure GTA exlusive content. Then freaking COD to finish off.smh
So..it's essentially always online? If you want to play the game, that is.
Is it even possible to defend this? What excuse could greenpowerz or neverending come up with?

Man this is some seriously bad press.
Every single site is counting them down and out.
As they say, you only get one first impression.Maybe airing their conference on spike wasn't such a good idea..
It's kind of the same press PS3 went through at launch.Tons of bad press and raised eyebrows.
And to be honest, i don't know if Microsoft can weather through the storm..
