You got it all wrong.This is just the upscaler at work.You plug the PS4 into the Xbone HDMI, and then it upscales the xbox version to 1080p.
Just make sure you put the disc in the PS4, so the upscaler works.

Games don't NOT benefit from having more FPS.Especially in this case, where DR3 already dips framerate a lot.Dipping slightly below 60fps isn't nearly as bad as dipping below 30fps.
Especially with the amount of enemies on screen.
