Not everyone bothers with the warranty's.I, as a hardcore gamer would rather just buy a new console than wait 2+ weeks for repairs.
My 2nd 360 broke a few months back.No warranty at all.No intention of buying another one.Same with my buddy who was on his 3rd, he owns a PS3 now.
