I think it's for those that want to continue their game on the go, or at a hotel, or at the in laws for the holiday... I don't know, it's an option for people. Considering you're playing full AAA games on a phone without sacrificing resolution and visuals... a bit of input lag or brief buffering isn't so much a big deal. I'm sure it will get better as well, it's still early.

Those are some good and important questions. It would be great if it was just an additional feature of GamePass Ultimate or something... even if the game library was smaller than on PC or Xbox due to optimization, but having it bundled would be much better for the consumer.

Well I pay for 200/25... but at the time I was playing was peak times so I was probably like half of that. Plus running netflix and my wifes youtube on her phone.
I got accepted into it and for the most part I had a great time. Killer Instinct was flawless playing offline. The input lag wasn't noticeable and no buffering or anything.
Gears 5 I did try an online match and the input lag was noticeable here, and there were a couple instances of buffering. I was using my home wifi at the time which was also being used by my wife and netflix etc. I was still able to get a decent amount of kills.
I think we have yet to see their full potential. They have been fantastic yes, but now with full financial backing, plus being able collab with the other studios... I think they can pump out something fantastic.
As much as I love Obsidian and The Outer Worlds looks great, one area they can work on is animations. I think that is where they can easily improve. Obsidian can easily fill in the void that Bethesda left with Fallout and TES.
