Only a hand full of games req. the HDD for online MP. If your not into that which most casual gamers are not the core is not a bad option.

If your a gamer looking for a great value there you have it. You only need the HDD if your a content nut. The core has a HDMI port so if you need HD a decent HDMI cable is around $10.00. If you just care about games and want to get them where they shine this is the best way to go.

The inter coolers for the PS3 and 360 kill the systems. Nyco and the other co. are just out there making stuff like this are just trying to get rich.
The 3 year warranty is not a manufactures warranty. It is a just incase warranty. I know more than 100 people who own 360 only about 5-6 have had the RROD failure. PS3 fan boys not PS36 fan s blow the RROD out of the water because it give them a sick since of accomplishment.
6 have announced RROD. 2 or 3 have had disk read errors.
I think internet polls are pointless. Fanboys of all types spam the polls. 70% is absurd.
The 3 year waranty begins when you report the RROD to M$ not from the date of purchase.

I think people are confusing the fan boy wars with Sony’s and Microsoft’s actual business.
The Addon HDDVD drive for the purpose of watching movies. The is a big possibility that we could see the same for the 360. M$ has always said they would adapt to the market.
I think a Blu Ray add on drive would be a great idea. Also it just mite be cheaper for 360 owners than a PS3 all around. Could you imagine how many BLu Ray drives the XBOX360 community would buy. I say SONY and M$ team up and make the Add on.

Viva Piñata & Viva Piñata party animals would have 1000X better if it was compatible with the Wiimote. Personally I would have centered the launch of Banjo and Kazooie with the release of the new JOYSTICKS like Wii play. Game + new remote.
