That's because the problems are contained to the PS3 version. OP should state that in the summary.

You got extremely lucky not to encounter any glitches at all. I came across at least 3 that forced me to restart my console, and the final one basically broke my game save.
It seems like the newer games get, the less internal testing they receive. At least in the Fable series, they seem to have gone backwards in terms of glitches. Definitely a fun game, but I wish they didn't sell it while it was still in development...
I didn't have much hand on with Frontline, but the few minutes that I did felt like a PS2 game. Maybe I just didn't play it enough, but I didn't like it one bit.
I say I'm not sure about consoles because many developers probably don't want to risk adding too many players and having their online portion run unsmoothly. Plus, I don't think I'll ever be playing with more than 15 of my friends at once.
In terms of MAG, yes, that game is amazing! I couldn't believe they actually pulled off 256 players at once. I just wish I had more friends to play it with, haha.
I could see that being done on the PC, but not so sure about consoles. I definitely think it is possible though with dedicated servers being used, but personally I think 16 vs 16 is plenty of people.
Agreed. I just hope the online play has a bit more of a tactical approach rather than that "run-n-gun" CoD feel. They just need to balance it out enough without the game feeling either too slow or fast paced. I've had enough CoD type gaming for a while.
Looks like now I can get my Fable back from a friend and finally get past the "Masquerade" quest. I hope.
I believe it was two thieves armed with handguns, so basically it didn't matter that the games were behind the counter...they had guns!
Heard about this on the news yesterday (I live a county over). At first I was like "no way," but they will probably we caught pretty soon.
I'd say an 8.5 is about right for the score. It's great and all, but I'm not too fond of some changes they have made concerning weapons and this "no menu" crap. It's so much harder to do what you want to do having to run somewhere instead of clicking a button in a menu.
Also, it's full of bugs. On the quest where I needed to rescue the princess, I first glitched and could not finish the quest at the very end. I restarted it, then got glitched and...

I'd have to say this review is completely biased. For one, you don't have "magical, infinitely available bandages." You can patch yourself up with a field dressing, but that won't heal your wound, just stop the bleeding. I don't remember signing up for it, but I just received that email. I was a part of the closed beta, and the beta was better. The demo should come out soon for everyone, but whatever.
Redbox has advertised that they now have video games to rent, but lately I've been to at least 3 of my local redbox's and none of them have had any games. They need time to roll out games all over the country before it can really be compared to Gamefly.
