I made a video based on the alpha, and I wrote-up an very positive preview for the PC-version of the game not too long ago. Long story short, I'm getting the full version of the game for sure.

Indeed it does ;) And same here, in fact, "SimCity 4" was the first game that came to my mind when I watched the trailer.
And that intro song that plays everytime that you boot-up the Gamecube :3
The whole "YS" series = Pure gold imo.
There is a huge risk that people might get fed-up with "Borderlands", its characters and universe if Gearbox spit-out too many titles based on that IP, yes indeed...So just like everyone else, they have to create new IP's in-order to keep things freash and clean. I feel you ;) I'm still happy to see that Tiny Tina got her own game though (I'm a huge fan of her!).
This made me curious enough to give it a chance.
