The Fidelio X1s are great headphones, but they are very different to the Nuraphone. The Nura sound very rich, whereas the Fidelio give a very natural and clean sound. It is steep. As a bundle, the extra £20 is bearable, but £50 feels like a bit much. It's certainly worth it to be able to use them for gaming. It's a shame the Nuras use that proprietary connection because there's plenty of great 3rd party mic solutions that would have done fine.

Searched at 8.00 with 4 separate browsers. Checked out with Argos at 8:03 and Xbox Store had one in my basket at 8:05. I only bought one, because scabs suck. I got very lucky I think.
Thanks for the reply ocelot07. I'm very interested to know what build will end up producing similar (or preferably higher) performance than the PS5 and Series X. Even speccing a system with a 2060 I struggle to get a satisfactory build planned for under £1000.

I roughly priced one up, and it came to over £1200.
If we talk GPU teraflops (I know that's not the only performance metric, but as a guide), the Series X at 12 TFlops is comparable then with a RTX2080 Super @ 11.15 TFlops. In the UK, a 2080 super is around £600-700 alone.

We have revised our review since we managed to finally play online. The score has increased to 8.5, with robust online play and great difficulty balancing being a particular highlight.

How long did it take you to get used to mouse and keyboard? Even after a week I still find my movement and fluidity at accessing inventory etc to be janky. My aim is good and the mouse side of things is easy enough, but I regularly hit the wrong key in the heat of the moment.
GT Sport is a much more faithful recreation than Forza 7. I'm fairly sure it was mentioned that Forza just updated the assets from the previous games, which would explain a lot, but even so, kudos to GT Sport!
You raise a good point about these just basically being the LCD series. Most gaming headsets do have 'gamer' styling (which I personally am not a big fan of), and the better ones have audio profiles or some kind of sound processing that gives some tangible benefit not available from regular headphones, but when compared to the LCD-GX, which is purely analogue, that gaming branding adds little to the package. Absolutely, they make a few minor tweaks and adjustments, but at heart it's the exact same game. The updated roster isn't even that good an addition, as you can change the riders / teams yourself anyway. Not to mention all the riders look the same.
Our reviewer was the same - he was so excited for the game, but it just falls a bit flat.
