Umm what xbox game should be on his list? Only one I would think would be Ori and maybe he didn't like it that much...

That makes no sense, if Xbox gamers cared alot about these "quality" titles then there would be sales. Your saying they care about the titles but not enough to buy them...
Of course personally if you enjoy a game that matters more than sales but Xbox1 gamers as a whole don't agre...
Umm Isn't halo 5 the only exclusive fps worth talking on the Xbox1 and it didn't change anything...
But all the Xbox exclusives have been hyped and well advertised so I'm not sure what your talking about. They have just not sold well...
The only title that I would say had more substance than hype this gen would be Until Dawn

My guild had showed some interest in the game and after checking it out seems pretty interesting. They are mostly a PVP guild and like the combat. I like to craft myself but from what you have seen(heard) does it have any point in the endgame?

Oh it's not a matter of liking the game or not. I couldn't finish it myself, the story while interesting wasn't enough to keep me playing, I'd rather read a book. Putting it one of the worst games of the year thou means you need to play more games imo.
@PixelGateUk Obviously you don't like the genre but wanted to give the game a try. How it is the worse of the year for you is kinda flawed thou. It is like saying I hate FPS games but I hear good things about Halo 5 so I decide to play it. Nope still don't like FPS so it is now one of my worst games of the year...
Umm how did Xbox1 narrow the gap between the 2? For it narrow the gap in 2015 it would have to sell more consoles which it did not even come close to doing...
You talk like 2 million+ sales for a new exclusive IP is bad...The only other exclusives on either system that sold better than that are Halo 5, Killzone, Forza 5, and Driveclub.
It's so niche it outsold every Xbox1 game on that list cept for Halo...and besides gears it outsold the others 2x or more

I would think releasing 2 weeks before UC4 would sell better than 3 weeks after UC4 but thats just me.
@fatneal It wasn't in hindsight at all, as soon as it was announced alot of game developers were not happy they were staying with cartridges.
@Segata That was another issue MS knew that dvds were behind but they did not want to pay for blu ray and rather wanted to try to support their own HDDVD format.(cost for either at the time was high) Also while N64 was the "most powerful" system it was severely hampered by cartridges.
You misread it. The next paragraph is referring to the nx not the Wii u. If the nx's support dries up all that we'll get on it are those games.
You have to go back to the SNES for the last time nin was with the times consolewise...Did they use the hardware well, yes but with either power or format they have been lagging.
