There's a bunch of things that you don't take into account.

Halo is overrated. Seriously. Everybody just says "halo is great" because they heard it's great and everyone should think its great. It's really bland imo. In other words, if you were going to get a PS3, now is the time because after that one runs out, there wont be a price drop for a while...unless of course this bit of info is true.
