I actually agree, all my best online memories were 10+ years ago. My first online game was a cross between Midnight Club 2 on the PS2 and Champions of Norrath. This reminds me of the whole issue with "No Russian" back in the MW2 days. From what I'm told Mafia 3 has FAR WORSE situations for someone of color back in the late 60s, but it's ok because the main character doesn't reflect Ireland at all.

Would Sonic CD count as a time travel based game? If so I'm surprised it didn't make the list either. Chrono Trigger at #1 is almost a no brainer, although some would argue Majoras Mask should be #1.
Finally. There's a few games I'd like to play on controller over Mouse/Keyboard, as well as Arcade Stick.
And before some argue "PC Master race" or "KB/M beats controller any day" there are some games Mouse and KB just don't do the job like a controller can. Not all games, but some.

What made the arcade version harder (for me) was the amount of quarters you had was all the chances you had. And hope to hell your parent(s) allowed you to stay long enough to see how far you get.
The NES version I was able to play on the weekends to see how far I'd get. What I didn't understand was how the way the NES version ended, yet in the future games it's like nothing happened. I didn't want to spoil the ending just in case people still wanted to...
I remember the first time I beat the arcade version at the local Wal-Mart. Boy was that a hard game. I've had debates between the arcade or the original NES version which was harder.
Surprised the second game on NES didn't make the list.
The root of the problem is the majority who complain will still buy the next CoD because of their friends, or because of the MW Remaster and are too impatient to wait a few months before it's a stand alone purchase. After Destiny I refuse to buy anything Activision has their hands on, even if it's a game like CoD MW (Which I like a lot).

I actually like Wasteland 2. I hope the name gets bigger than Fallout so Bethesda can actually get off their high horse and make something as open as Wasteland 2 is. Wasteland actually has consequences for certain behaviors, not like Fallout where factions are the only real factors. Wasteland 2 actually makes you think on certain topics, and you have to live with whatever decision was decided.

Really depends on what the remaster offers the original version didn't have. If it's just to look pretty I'll pass, but if its improvements, added content, and reasonably priced I'll give it a shot.
I'm surprised Blast Corp from the N64 days didn't make the list. Star Tropics I wouldn't mind playing again either. I wonder how they are doing the code for the robot you encounter towards the end of the game when it releases for the mini.
I'd argue #1 and 2, since 3 is what brought me to the series, but Tag is where I really had fun in the arcades. Tekken is also the first game where I pushed Street Fighter to the sides; something Killer Instinct and Mortal Kombat almost did.
For the article, Tag was on PS2 as one of the launch titles, with an HD release on the PS3, and Namco made Tekken last I remember.
I know there's a few I want to try on Steam but every time I try Mouse K/B my hands cramp quick, with controller I can play for hours. Dungeon Fighter Online I mapped to a Hori fightpad I use for Evo and the game works wonders.
