Another article with 1 game per page for clicks. Be warned.
Most pretend to be stock holders in these companies, so when X sells more than Y, they act like they're going to get a bigger bonus. I like more sales because it means I have more options when playing with others online.
"If" money is a prime factor for these services to run effectively, then they should provide options so people can decide if it's worth it to them.
Full price - all the perks
Free - Multiplayer only
Free with ads - all the perks
Something along those lines. If I had to pick, either free or free with ads, so at least I can keep my $50 a year towards games. I know people try to argue "I spend more than that a night/wee...
The problem with reviews, the wrong people are reviewing the games.
If a fan of fighting games is told to review a sports title, it will get a more skewed score because they either hate the genre, or don't know what to look for. Have a fighting fan review a fighting game, at least they know what to look for, and know how to properly review the game for those who are also fighting game fans.
There's one that needed to be mentioned. At Evo 2016 with the Grand Finals of Street Fighter 5 with Fuudo and Infiltration, and Fuudo was ordered to change his outfit on R Mika because Disney deemed it "inappropriate" for prime time, when there's way worse on ESPN during the same time.
"If" that's true, Nintendo just lost a lot of their fan base with this decision. But as everyone else says, wait for official word.
I have yet to play UC4, I just get sick of seeing it listed for click bait reasons. I know there's legit reasons why people like/hate the game, I'm not talking about them; I'm talking about the ones who have 0 logic in why they don't like the game other than to get hits for their site.
"I didn't like UC4 because it felt like a repetitive 3rd person shooter with scripted elements that didn't appeal to me." This is acceptable.

Finally, a list that covers all platforms, and not just hate on one system.
Edit: And no Uncharted 4 for click-bait!
Video games hands down. Social Media can exist without the need of technology - it's called outside, or local bars/hang out places.
On an unrelated note, why are sites blocking those who use adblock plus and/or ghostery? Is revenue THAT important to sacrifice safe browsing for the extra $2 revenue?
I should start one of these "top 10 lists" and put SATIRE in my title so readers know it's to poke fun at sites like this. I won't even give it a click since I already know what games will be listed. It's one thing to voice opinions regarding your reasons, but to just make click bait articles for revenue is beyond stupid and disrespectful.
Had the story been something like "top 10 per console/system" it would have gotten less hate, and mo...
Why is it every time there's a hiccup in a service, hacker groups always try to claim responsibility?
I had some issues making a chat group for a while (as well as joining one without NAT issues) but the Sony page says everything was up and working. Less than 20 minutes I was talking in groups with minimal headache.
For the fanboys - Tussin is right, any service at any time can get compromised, so don't think just because one doesn't adve...
After my recent issue with Capcom involving Street Fighter 5, digital is written off as a fad to me. Unless a game is ONLY available through digital, I will buy from disc like I have in the past. I hate the idea of owning something I can't access because the customer comes second, even if you support their products through thick and thin.
And for those wondering, the short version is I can't download SF5 on the PS4 Pro; it stops at around 3-4 gb. After hours of...
I'd assume info in Feb 2017, a beta Sept 2017, and mid 2018 is release. "If" the rumor is true, it's probably going to release the base game then, with add ons and patches later.
Slow news day?
I'll wait till a GotY version comes out. I'm no longer buying games with planned dlc day one, week, month, etc.
Swap 5 for 1 and I'd agree with the list. Also I'm surprised Star Tropics wasn't listed (or mentioned), it was the American version of Zelda.
I restricted myself to 4 full priced games for the year, and surprised at how much I saved instead of buying day one. Next year, unless there's a game screaming "buy me" it's another 4 full priced games for the year, and I'm also adding a new modifier - outside Tekken 7, and/or MMO games, any game that has a season pass, I'll wait until there's some GotY version.
Final Fantasy 11
Skyrim
Borderlands 2
Fallout 3/NV
Xenogears
And I will NOT be part of the estimated 4 million.
He does raise some valid points in the article, and at the end of the day these are still a factor in why an all digital future will not happen any time soon:
Physical trumps digital
Not everyone has access to high speed, unlimited Internet
Storage is still a factor for some devices
