I agree with you.. actually Wii is just not selling as much as before. If the PS3 is gaining momentum then so is the 360, since the gap for weekly sales of Wii vs 360 has decreased.
I'm not too sure about the ad. I mean its FANTASTIC graphics, but the ad doesn't really capture the audience. MS goes for the emotional aspect on their ads (ie: GeOW and Halo 3) and I think that gets consumers more curious about the product.
whitto, actually if you look at it.. that 1 week difference of ~40k units is almost 1month diff of PS3 sales in Japan.
and 360 SO > PS3 SO... oops sorry.. PS3 doesn't have one.

Isn't it sad that we PS3 and 360 fans fight for scraps in Japan and get all excited for 30k+ sales in software, but anywhere else that would be considered crap sales.

What's funny is that PS3 fans always comment on how Sony doesn't talk down or compare themselves to the competition. Now I've read 2 in the last 2 days about Sony talking about how much better they are than so and so... A little threatended now?
I haven't installed Home on my PS3 yet (just don't really understand the "fun" of it), but is it true that you have to pay for custom clothing? My son's friend mentioned it and just wanted to verify.
Now PS3 fans not buying this because its multiplatform would be sweet. Namco would realize what a bunch of emotional women PS3 fans are and stop developing for the PS3 because lack of interest.
Why do PS3 fans care so much for Halo? How the hell are they milking the franchise? KZ is already at 2.. that's only 1 less than Halo.. Hello.. MGS? FF? Ratchet? Socom? GOW? You guys don't seem to mind a lot of those...

You guys sure do get excited over old Xbox 360 games, but when 360 gets a superior version on an older PS3 game (VF5) its because developers had more time.. right?
You know its because according to PS3 fans sales don't mean the game is good. PS3 fans love their exclusives so much that they don't buy them.
Asked this earlier in another thread but didn't get a response... Are the added features (ie: updated photo viewer, ...) taking up valuable OS ram footprint? I mean is it just an app that is loaded from the hdd and if not would these "extra" features take up valuable OS ram that should be used for gaming features?
Question... do all these enhancements take up OS space? Are all these non-gamer enhancements an app that launches from the hdd or do they take up OS memory footprint? I'm worried that all these items are taking up valuable space that should be used for gamer functions.
If it goes to the PS3.. oh well. Not sure why PS3 fans gets excited for receiving 1yr old 360 games.
SO4 sold really well considering the low install base of 360s in Japan. Also, please stop with the WKC is a new IP blah blah. That was a overly hyped PS3 game for a JRPG starved PS3 fans. WKC should really have done better.
