Which people are discouraging the purchase of the PS4?
Wouldn't Sony have to approve of any new characters and then possibly having to secure the rights to using that character? I don't believe its just up to the devs.
Just saying.. from all the benchmarks I've read, AMD was always last in gaming. It was great in apps, but not games.
SolidSystem, now since PS4 and Nextbox is more PC like I would assume that the PC will be the lead for development of games. It was similar to why the Xbox 360 multis were better than the PS3 version for the most part. Devs didn't take full advantage of the spus. Now since the majority of PCs are quad core, I would think that majority of 3rd party devs will only use 4 cores. At least in the beginning.
I don't understand the additional cost. Since they also develop for the PC, wouldn't they share resources?
Doesn't AMD cpu/apus kinda suck for gaming? I've had AMD 4 and 6 cores and they are great for Windows/APPS, but for gaming they sucked.
I'm guessing that the specs between the two consoles will be so close that it wouldn't matter.
If playstation products are future proof then why did I have get the PS2, PS3 and now PS4 since I had the "future proof" PS1?

MS is probably at a better spot at bringing BC to the next xbox because the 360 is closer in design to PC hardware.

What's funny is that if Sony did decide to start charging for online, the Sony fans would accept it and turn a blind eye. Then they would blame it on MS for starting it.
