I still prefer basketball, jogging, and actually leaving the house to enjoy myself. When I play games, I prefer to be sitting down, taking it easy, and enjoying myself. Maybe Nintendo can come up with a way to perform all physical activities of life from the comfort of home...using a wii-mote....gimme a break.

How can anyone possibly consider this upcoming Metroid game to be 'great'. If you compare it to the first-person shooters that exist on the ps3 and xbox360, it's like going back to the stone-ages. It appears as though there is rapidly becoming a double-standard for games on the wii.....or maybe they just don't have good games....period. Wii-fit may be rather unique/compelling. But you have to ask yourself.....is it still a video game? I doubt that wii-fit will ever establish credibility as a legitimate source of 'fitness'. That usually requires hard work, committment, and proper nutrition. In that regard, wii-fit is a gimmick. It goes without saying that wii-fit will also never appeal to people that don't want to exercise or thrash about wildly while playing games....and I think that constitutes the majority of us.

I have owned an xbox360 pretty much since it was released. I have also owned a ps3 for the majority of the time that it has been available and I also bought a nintendo wii this past January. Personally, I can relate to all forms of gaming. I have gamed my entire life and played everything from the most hardcore to the most casual games available.
