There's really little incentive for Epic to even bother trying to make Gears of War 2 a decent game, there's nothing else to hype for the second half 2008 for the 360.
Gears of War 2 is going...
* Xbox 360: software sales ratio: 7.5 / 2.5 years = 3 ratio
* Wii: software sales ratio: 5.3 / 1.5 years = 3.5 ratio
* PS3: software sales ratio: 4.6 / 1.5 years = 3 ratio
All consoles selling games at roughly the same rate with the Wii showing a bit higher due to the huge number of bundled sales for the system.

By the time Microsoft pulls the plug on the system in a year or so it is going to barely be passed the first Xbox installed base.
In the end, the 360 will be bought by the same people who bought the first Xbox and ignored by the 150+ million PS2 and GameCube owners who didn't care about the Xbox last gen.
There's no way the game won't come out for the PC later.
It took until March of last year for retailers to sell through the massive stacks of unsold 360s that Microsoft stuffed the channels to make their silly PR bogus claim of '10 million sold'.
The fact that Microsoft is only able to claim a 68 percent rise from last year where they were effectively not shipping any new console to retailers for months...

Rockstar themselves have come right out on multiple occasions making it clear the PS3 version has better graphics.
Virtually everyone who has played both versions states the PS3 doesn't have the framerate problems the 360 version has.

Resistance sold over two million copies as of middle of 2007.
Resistance is the gold standard for online console play with both perfect framerate and zero lag even with 40 people onscreen at the same time. Insomniac wouldn't be doing 60 for R2 if they couldn't achieve the same high level of quality as the first game.

He's basically nothing more than an Xbox fan who likes to pretend the 360 is selling much better than it really is and that the PS3 is selling much worse than it really is.
The 1.02 patch downloaded in about a minute or two. Had one server error on the first try and then everything went perfectly.
Amazing graphics.
Completely lagfree.
Deep gameplay, really need to spend some time getting up to speed on the controls and weapons.
