i thought we ran away from sports and straight into the arms of games. now this shit. cant wait to see the first DOTA hooligan riot and reading about some random korean star craft player's diet plan. romero is as full of crap as awlays
It all depends on the marketing I think. I don't remember anything ever blowing up on consoles on its own, aside from Dark Souls maybe.
playersh shouldnt have to "apologise" for a short or poopy campaign, and neither should they have to compensate for bad design by adjusting their playing habits. nobody ever had to make this sort of excuse for a 100+ hour release, but density is a cash-cow and microtransaction mine. activision and bungie know what they are doing, same as with the last game - releasing barely 1/5 of a finished product and hoping their skinner-box crap will get people to pay hundreds of dollars + micr...
wow, what a sexist competition
Nostalgia (tm)
Very clickbatey and not really containing much in the way of substance either.
I don't think so. Anthem will most likely be heavily instanced. The Firefall comparison implies a lot of open space for purposes other than just being a hub area. Not sure BioWare can pull that off, since they've been designing corridors for the past two decades.
because bf1 was a paid beta test?
AAA is starved of creativity. Nothing new here. Just tried and true, old and safe, methods of grabbing some cash.

What's mind-blowing is that they added DRM to the original Doom.
