I would personally like a new Super Mario Strikers or a JRPG title. The gamepad feels like it would be perfect for a console RTS too.

I remember hearing the definition of Indie being something along the lines of this in the context of gaming: An independent development studio not backed by a publisher.

Why is it that whenever we have discussions on Gameplay vs graphics vs story we always see these straw-man arguments?
Gameplay is definitely the most important aspect of a game but when I say that I'm not saying that we remove aesthetics and plot entirely. I have played many games with brilliant gameplay that have underwhelming visuals and plot and I prefer those games over the contrary.

Replay value is one the most important things a game should have IMO and QD's games are lacking in that.
Why couldnt we control Jody when we were running from the cops in the forest and try different strategies to escaping rather than just tapping/holding buttons for quick time events?
Making gameplay decide the outcome in the story is something David Cage just doesn't seem willing to try.
