Killzone needs less stealth orientated classes. It also needs to bring back the class merging system!
I remember playing loads with the engineer just to unlock the repair tool and use it with the tactician so that i could always get ammo when i needed it from them darn crates!

The only thing resistance has that really resembles COD is killstreaks. Its a really good game and something about it is incredibly fun. Genuinely dont know what it is about gameplay which makes multiplayer so fun! Just seems like people might have lost interest in the game.

Well the article is talking about game development.... For all platforms (excluding the wii). So why shouldn't the PC crowd get involved?
Anyone can make an FPS. Not everyone can make a good RTS or platformer.

I like DLC. The problem is that devs are abusing this new privilege they have been given by making us buy stupid things.
For example there are more "buyable" weapon skins in Gears 3 than there are unlockable... Thats a freaking piss take.
But i am ok with BF3's auto-unlock dlc. This is there for those who dont enjoy levelling up or working to get their upgrades. Some people just want to play the game.

Im ok with these issues being incorporated into video games but at the same time saying that your game will have a focus on "meaning, not fun" doesnt make me jump for joy....

I have it too. In Mass effect there are certain dialogue options i HAVE to choose and if i dont pick them it stays in my mind and i have to reload the level and pick the "right" option.
In games like COD and similar if a character is talking and walking i HAVE to move at walking speed along side those characters.
If there are Character creation options i feel the need to add certain facial features that i also have. I think i've played throught ...
create a better story but deliver it in the same way as KZ3! I loved KZ3's cutscenes and they did try really hard with the Voice acting and some of the scenes to really get you emotionally attached with the characters and understand how they were in a desperate situation!
