It would be a remake of a 6th gen console. PS2.5 is still behind the PS3. Otherwise your example would make the ps3 slim an 8th gen console and the super slim a 9th gen. Just as it would make the xbox 360 slim an 8th gen.
You logic is flawed....
Lets use this example:
There are two children who are 10 years old.
One looks older for his age, is very tall and very intelligent.
The other is small and looks 2 years younger for his age, very small and is as smart as a 9 year old.
Are those 2 children in a different generation? Im going to say... no
My example is a little off because all the consoles for 8th gen obviously arnt going to release in the same ...

FF13 didnt become an RPG until you were past 70% of the game which dragged on ridiculously long. Also its story is mediocre at best.
The only thing I can think of that made the game good was its boss fights, creativity with enemy designs and cutscenes.... I always like a good cutscene here and there in games ^.^

This COD allows you to take no perks and put a focus on your weapon and I think thats a good improvement because EVERYONE who hates COD complains about its perks so it does something good in their eyes and its still hate. Also Killstreaks reward good players... Whats wrong with that...
So they're supposed to say "hey this may or may not be the best COD ever.... You know we actually have ZERO percent confidence in our product! HIGH FIVE!!!"
So are they saying for the "optimal experience" we need to install an ADDITIONAL 5gb on top of the original game or that the entire game has a 5GB install?
Either way I'm fine with that. I install all my games on the 360 just to keep the discs in good condition :)

Well length of a game depends on certain things like how good the player is and what difficulty they play on.
I cant wait for this game and as usual I will go for the hard difficulty first time for the challenge. If thats not enough of a challenge I'll restart and go for VERY hard!!!

Steam doesnt fit the comparison in this subject. On top of that MS didnt start out in the gaming industry and so when they went to make the move into that industry the reasoning was simple: to make money with a new product.
Valve on the other hand was created because people wanted to make games for a living.
You don't sue if you can't make money off it!!!!
