Dark souls is probably the last rpg a beginners should go to.

Based on ARM architecture. No way that would make too many compromises on performance for electrical effeciency, and that doesnt make sense for something that doesn't move all day.
Smaller is sort of a toss up. On one hand smaller looks better takes less space and stuff, but it is usually worse at heat dissipation, and with graphics cards and cpus requiring better cooling I dont see it happening

I remember reading a review on god of war 3 that said it was extremely close to perfect but it was given a 9/10. That 9/10 could mean 98/100, 99/100, or 96/100

Using a cell processor again would enable Sony to easily emulate Ps3 games. Using a conventional processor would make it almost impossible to emulate.

yes this time review dont matter because people want the best sim. Gt5 gives us just that. Forza may be the better game (UI, customization, online play, 500 vs 200 high quality cars), but Gt5 is a better driving game.
Adding weather is actually a huge addition because each cars has to be individually tested for accurate feel during weather conditions.

Upgraded cell is the only way to go if they want Ps3 backward compatibility. Cell is impossible to emulate properly on current desktop processors.
The RAM in the ps3 isnt any 256mb ddr2 stick of ram. It runs at 3.2ghz (yes the ram, im not confusing this with the processor) which is very fast. More of it would be better (obviously) because of higher res textures on screen.

I would expect it in holiday 2013 not early-mid 2013 but releasing in 2015 is horrible idea. The outdated tech we have now will be extremely outdated. I'm expecting another cell in the ps4 (obviously much more powerful) so that ps3 can be easily emulated, and one sku w/ ps2 and 1 sku w/o ps2 emu. Wifi and 200gb+ hdd will be standard. USB 3.0 latest bt and hdmi standard.
I like to dream so I'll add holographic disk. Hoping Sony will make this expensive format more standard...

its likely they'll use 6gb+ xdr ram like the ps3 on the ps4 running at 4ghz+ (a jump from the current 3.2ghz).
