There were characters in Bayonetta? Wait --was there actually a story?
I got Good Witches vs Bad Witches BANG BANG BANG KILL KILL KILL
End Game.
Eh. I'm still a bit on the rocks about Heavy Rain. Sounds like Sony is only allowing good reviews to be published, so there might be a bunch of bad ones waiting.
I'm not going to lie...I played DOA: Volleyball. I said I was buying it for a friend. :(
Good lord I hope Brock Lesnar gets ruined by someone this year. It'd be splendid if it was Mir, but Carwin will have to do too.
Seriously. I hope Carwin destroys Lesnar.
I think there has been studies that tie elevated aggression to video games.
That said, though, I hate people who try to use video games as a scape goat.
Cheers. I'll still be open to checking it out, but I definitely have my reservations now. Waiting for the reviews.
Hopefully they will be. Rebellion doesn't exactly have the best track record these days.
PC demo sucked. Badly. It'd damn better be a port.
You are WRONG, sir.
It is very much a MMO.
Every opinion has a counter-argument. That's why they're called opinions and not facts.
Seems like the article was written to show that there's a lot of reasons why the game is worth checking out, contrary to what the negative reviews might suggest.
The fact that it's a niche title and a good game is exactly the point being made. Certain people will appreciate it (for the reasons given) but the plethora of unfair, negative reviews seem to be disguising this overlook...
What games like WoW which not only retailed for full price but charged for subscription fees on top of that?
Also, would MAG warrant a purchase if it came with a painfully tacked on SP mode w/ bots ala Battlefield 1942?
Big adjectives = splashy headlines.
As for the beta, it's weird. I played the beta and was not impressed at all by it. However, something about the retail copy just clicked with me. I'm not entirely certain if the graphics were improved or whatever, but the experience was considerably more positive.
Maybe it was all the drugs I take. I dunno.
I have to agree. I still don't think MAG is the bee's knees necessarily, but c'mon -- EDGE gave it a 6? What the heck was that all about?
From the five hours I've played it I would say MAG is a solid 8. If you really dig it, though, it could easily be a 9.
AVP is very, very very 50/50 for me.
On one hand, it could be as badass as the originals.
On the other, Rebellion has made absolute CRAP games lately like Shellshock 2 and Rogue Warrior.
It'll be interesting to see which AvP takes more after.
I'm just finishing up ME2. It's amazing. Now the only question remaining is who to romance...
This. What's the point in making a list if you're just going to choose out the obvious games?
I lived off of cup ramen for a month a few years ago during a particularly game intensive month. :( Sooooo worth it though.
In all fairness, though, dates are, what? Once a week at least? Multiple times? It adds up and quick.
Video games cost $60 and last at least a month.
On the negative side, you can't get intimate with a video game. Or can you?
Poopnscoop, I see you trolling like every article that could even remotely be construed as being positive towards PS3. Do you honestly not have anything better to do with your time?
One second I'm like "Oh hey I'm a Witch," the next second there's like a huge dragon and I'm like "WHAT THE WHAT!?" and then there's like freaking demons coming out of the walls trying to noms my head and I'm like "WOAH."
I've had acid trips more coherent than Bayonetta's storyline.
Oh, and I'm pretty sure it's more of a humor article than a serious one.
