As far as I know, that's not true. The read time accross the disc does not change - it's stable, unlike DVDs - but the read and especially write times on a dual-layer Blu-ray is slower in the second layer than the first.
They gave 21/20 to Uncharted 2. Disappointing score for GOWIII
(joke)
Just a note - none of that was funny.
Yes, don't get carried away just yet.
You mean last generation.
Yes, yes it is.
Baboons can talk now? In real-time or CG?
I wonder whether it'll be both though...think, with all the costumes Kratos is going to have - if the cutscenes are real-time then his costumes will show up in all the cutscenes. Hm...small possibility of that happening though.
Much prefer this over Dante Inferno's method - CG, in-game and cartoon - not very consistent and I always feel "I wish I was playing that" when I see the CG.
You would be correct Eddy.
This is...odd.
Which drawing like scenes?
Wonder if they'll be real-time or pre-recorded in-engine scenes like Uncharted.
Look, from the trailer...a painting come to life. http://www.playstationunive...
Perhaps in that screenshot, but in the others there is parity with Uncharted 2. And the scale here is much larger
BTW I was talking about GT PSP. Very much a full game.
The last GT game released in...2009. Splinter Cell Conviction should be hyper-realistic by now.
CWMR...do you realise where that gameplay is taking place? Look at the gradient of the ground...it's on that giants bloody arm...and the camera is just about to pull out to the full view to show the big crab-horse. I expect those textures have not been loaded in to help this camera transition happen. You can see higher-res textures in places where they matter.
Now, why not select the best looking screenshot and ask yourself...
The environemtns look great fun to play in, but I don't see it. Low-res textures everywhere...reminds me of Half Life 2: Episode 2... Alan Wake graphics look 2x better than this. As this is alpha footage I shall keep an open mind!
I don't :( Had to delete some demos for the Bayonetta install.
