I enjoyed KZ2, you say you did not. To me, that video seemed a lot like KZ2's gameplay. There were some obvious differences (the melees, new bots, etc), but, the overall feeling I got was that it will be similar in play style to KZ2.
IMO, that's a good thing. I liked that game, and, don't like it when developers go all crazy changing things (best example for me would be the difference in gameplay between Resistance FoM and R2's multiplayer).
Agree about the voice Captain. Of course, you'll get disagreed to death by the fanboys. It's not the end of the world by ANY means, and certainly won't stop anyone from buying the game (not that you said it would) but it is annoying.
Still a must have for PS3 owners.

I agree with you completely. The final boss was absolutely horrible. Yippee...let's run around in a circle shooting out lights to defeat it. Odd decision there, to say the least. Other than that, I enjoyed the campaign and it was my favorite part of the game, which, makes me sad because I'm all about MP in games.

R2 is trash compared to Fall of Man. The campaign was fine, but, the multiplayer is nowhere near as good as the first. Graphically it is better, but, the character models online just look awful in comparison. The death animations are moronic as well. I mean, when was the last time you saw someone get sniped in the head and it makes them do a cartwheel? LOL...what kind of effect/animation is that?

I'm sorry but anyone who's played both the originals and isn't in DENIAL knows that Resistance was the better game. Gears had way better graphics, that's obvious. A great cover system, yes. Chainsaw...sweeet.
But, Resistance had a better story, more game modes, more weapons, more customizations for the multiplayer experience.

KZ2>R2 in just about every way that I can remember. The mp for R2 was such a huge letdown coming from R:FoM. Outside of the 8 player co-op, which got boring for me rather quickly, KZ2 crushed R2. The multiplayer was just awful. Fall of Man is still, for me, the best mp experience I've seen for a PS3 game. I hope Insomniac goes back to that style of MP or it won't get much time in my PS3 and that's a shame, because I played the original longer than any other game I've ow...
