omg. people.. if sony, microsoft or nintendo wanted to drop the used games market, they would have done so 10 years ago. It's not like sony got their brain power together and suddenly "found a way" no one else could figure out. Jesus this site just likes giving credit to 10 year olds. pathetic..
Zoe from The Longest Journey (Dreamfall) is the one that comes to mind. Funcom (the developer) has yet to release the last chapter in her story. But it's coming in the future. I think she really fits into that universe.
Also that girl from Beyond Good and Evil comes to mind. There are still companies that treat the female lead with respect, although they are few and far between.
After months of insane hacking by specialized groups and people, and what's going to stop them? The good old serial number.
Anyways, I don't think this is going to stop the hackers from enabling piracy. Might be a little setback, but they will eventually work a way around it. Might be a just a matter of time.
N4G is no stranger to calling games for crap, even before they come out. Since the majority of the vocal people here are ps3 fans, newsstories of reported 360games with bugs and glitches are much more frequent than with ps3 games. SO...Please guys just allow this 360 fan this one moment to point fingers in your direction. Maybe you ps3 fans can be man enough to take it.

I DON'T think the 360 is dominating. It is in some areas, just as the ps3 dominates other areas. You could say what you want about the pricing of LIVE, but in my opinion XBL is a step over what the PS3 currently has going on. It's not what each platform boasts of functionality, but the execution of it's services (ease of use) that makes XBL such a fluent and seamingless experience. It's more or less confirmed that it's comming to the 360. The first teaser for the game has been out on XBL for a while now. Not sure about PS3 though.

Talking up your own game and challenging other games is just good for competition. With all the verbal fights between developers, maybe they get extra motivated to build a better game. Besides, it would be really boring if people didn't have the guts to honestly challenge other games by saying it is better. I think one should be able to do that and not be accused of being a blind-bragging businessman paid by MS with no respect for other developers. Come on people!

The reason you probably havent heard about them is that they're a site that operates primarily in Scandinavia (Norway, Sweden, Denmark, Finland). They are a nordic free magazine and they just opened shop in germany. Never the less, they are one of the biggest publications in the world. They're not just some 16-year olds working out of there basements which some of you seem to think.
