As much as I hate to say this, I don't think a whole lot of people are going to jump onto the VR train. I think VR is great, and I'm ready for it, but do we know if we're going to get a lot of support for the device? I think the price is fine too, I just feel like most gamers don't want to gamble $300 or more on a VR headset when it's possible we might not see a ton of games for it.
But I really hope I'm wrong. It's just something I fear.
...
I look at this like they're just telling a story to hype their game even more. It's a smart move, just a bit odd that they'd do it over twitter.
Oh there's always going to be people who believe stories like this. I imagine some don't even notice the account posting it and take it as truth.
I'm really excited for this. Also the slingshot zip they speak of, hopefully that makes traversing the location much faster. I'm kind of tired chasing people and climbing over a ton of obstacles to get to them.
It'll probably be a showcase style thing like how they did with the Attitude era, road to wrestlmania, etc.
It is certainly a great game and deserves all of the praise. Putting a lot of work into something usually means something good from it. Not always, but in the case of Uncharted 2, that clearly shows.
As long as they give me a ton of missions over a few months, I will survive. I was hoping the initial release would give us a lot more, so that's a bit disappointing. Here's hoping those three locations is enough to tide me over for more.
I think the length of the missions will hold me over. It's possible this release plan could drastically hurt them more than do good. But I'm going to pick it up day one. If it doesn't deliver, I will learn my lesson for sure.
I had no idea this was even coming out. I'm kind of surprised they would release it the same day as NBA 2K16.
I really think Konami is going to continue with MGS just to say that they're still focused on AAA titles. I really don't think we'll see a MGS for a very long time, if ever.
I've been considering picking one up for a while now. Might wait until black Friday to see if they're down to barely anything. I'm still a bit unsure about getting one yet, even though I said I might pick one up soon.
As long as we have a console from Microsoft, we will have a Halo game. It's like how Nintendo has Mario as a mascot, Master Chief is Microsoft's mascot. Plus it's still hugely popular, so it makes sense to keep focusing on sequels.
Yeah it's never going to go away, but there's no way it could full on match what we get from console and pc gaming.
I briefly played it in the past and really enjoyed it. I might have to pick it up and play through it. I remember it being a ton of fun when I first played it.
I'm totally find with this. I think it's partly that they want to put most of the budget on the new gen versions and partly because they want to push the end of last gen.
I haven't played a COD campaign since maybe MW2, I don't quite remember. I always focused on the multiplayer though and the campaign was never of any interest to me.
It's exciting to see how far the Xbox One has come in nearly two years. Both the Xbox One and PS4 are doing solid right now and are on tap to have one of the best console gens ever.
Xbox One will get better with time, as will the PS4 too. It's a good time to be a gamer, that's for sure.
Smart move on their part. Commercials during prim time are big, especially for SNF. Now if it was the Superbowl, that'd be a hefty price tag.
It kind of makes sense. This one reminds me a lot of Payday, which if I recall has no single player correct? Either way, I think I'm okay with this.
It's a smart move to do this so soon to the holiday season. It's nearing that time and it's always good to get a foothold into stores before the official holiday season. Hopefully there are some decent bundles.
The graphics look great! For some reason I'm getting The Walking Dead vibe from it, the video game, not the show. An upgraded version of TWD though.
